Welcome, friend. I’m so glad you’re here.
I’ve been blogging here for nearly a decade. This space has gone through many names, designs, purposes, and other changes. I’ve journaled through infertility, loss, moves, job changes, foster care, two adoptions, big surgeries, and more. But the thing that hasn’t changed, that has remained constant throughout, is heartfelt writing and a spirit of hope.
As my life moves through ups and downs, some seasons are more full of writing and blogging than others. Some seasons I fill journals and others I fill blog posts, and still others I fill word documents that eventually turn into books. I can’t guarantee new content here daily, or even weekly, but I can guarantee that what you find here comes from the heart.

One last thing, you need to know that this blog is not meant to be a prescription for life. I don’t have all the answers and I’m changing, growing, and wading through my days just like you. Sometimes I’m barely treading water. This is less of a “how to” more of a “me too” place. Rather than a guide for living, I’m offering a voice that says, Yes. I struggle with/feel/hope/wonder about/work for that too. I’m glad I’m not alone.
